PUT OFF THE PRESSURE

Your daily experiences, thoughts, and words right from when you wake up to when you lay down to sleep if counted are almost endless. A high percentage of these thoughts tend to put you under pressure.

The pressure to have or to be can be very tasking. The pressure to meet deadlines, job, family or business expectations, etc, can take a toll on you. In this state, you may not see the richness of what you already possess.

You need to learn to take the pressure off. Let go of the stress. One way to do this is to be grateful in the midst of what you are doing. Yes the pressure can be on yet you are thankful that you have a family, a job, or you even have the presence of mind to take on the task at hand.

Feel the riches and goodness of God to you, to bless you with what you are doing, with life, and then thank Him. You will be amazed at the peace that you will experience.

“Interrupt anxiety with gratitude.” Anonymous

“The struggle ends when gratitude begins.” Neale Donald Walsch

"It's a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack...Gratitude is one of the most powerful human emotions. Once expressed, it changes attitude, brightens outlook, and broadens our perspective." Germany Kent
