THE WRONG PLACE

I read a story of a lady whose dad wanted to gift her a really old car model as a recompense for the honors she obtained.

He instructed she carried it to the used car lot down town ,she returned with the meagre offer they posited ,again she went to the pawn shop and came back with a very low offer because to them "The car was outdated"

While reading this story, I paused to reflect on moments in my life where I got similar reactions ,it’s a downtrodden moment where you put in your best and get the "you have no value attitude" from people.

After tentatively carrying it to two shops with failed outcomes ,The father asked his daughter to go to a car club now and show them the car. The daughter then took the car to the club, returned and told her father,” Some people in the club offered $100,000 for it because it’s a Holden Torana and it's an iconic car and sought by many collectors”

What caught my attention in this story was the description of the car as "Iconic" ,the same car that was referred to as "outdated" and "worn out"

Sometimes you don't need a new location, you just need the right place because that's where your value gets revealed.

Stop struggling with thoughts on how to leave the wrong place where all you do is seen as trash ,even if you've stayed in it for a century and half, it doesn't negate the fact that it's a wrong place.

Go to places where your value is allowed to find expression.

👉Quick1:-The wrong place puts you in a box and like the gold fish ,you can never outgrow the size of that box ,Flee and find expression of your God-given abilities.
